Surgery Planning by Using Simulation: A Step Forward to Built-up a General DSS for Hospital management

摘要

The delivery of medical services within an acute care hospital has become an increasingly challenging task which has been complicated by the growing public awareness of the health care system. It's an acknowledged fact that it's ecoming more and more complex to manage health care facilities. In this paper we present our work in health system involving the application of simulation to a surgical department. The project has been conducted with the commitment and full support from the hospital adminstration staff, working directly with the operational personnel at its working place.
