Seismic IPEEE of US Nuclear Power Plants: Lessons for NPPs in Other Countries

摘要

This paper summarizes the lessons learned in the seismic IPEEE of a large sample of plants in the US of different reactor types/vintages and site conditions and reviews their applicability to plants outside of the US. These encompass the aspects of seismic hazard, Seismic fragility/Margin and systems analyses. Both seismic PSA and margin methods are reviewed.
