Development of Real-time Dose Assessment System for Korean Nuclear Power Plant

摘要

The dispersion of the released radionuclides and corresponding exposed doses are calculated using Gaussian-Puff model for the emergency response The RADCON (RADilolgical CONsequence analysis) version 3.0, newly developed, is capable of simulating emergency situation by considering contimuous washout phenomena, and provide a function of effective emergency planning. The offical regulatory institute, KINS (Korea Institute of Nuclear Safety), has been authorized and developing Computerized technical Advisory system for the Radiologocal Emergency preparedness (CARE). In this paper, in line with the CARE system, we presented the result of a modularized intermediate-level emergency dose asessment computer code which is operatable on PC. The source files are coded by using C Language in order to increase the compatibility with the other computer systems, The developed code is modularized to adjust the functions and characterstics of each module for easy understanding and further modification of the code.
