Solvent effects in degradation kinetics of emamectin benzate

摘要

Avermecins are fermentation products with unique insecticidal properties which are useful in corp protection, animal health and human health. In this study, the dedradation kinetics of MK-0244, a potent lepidoptericidal avermectin, were examined over a range of temperatures in selected solvents useful in crop protection. Data on initial solvolysis rates were used to obtain mechaistic and kinetic information abot the degradation of MK-0244 undr solvolytic conditions.
