64-Bit computers for technical analysis and data acouisition

摘要

A transition from 32-bit to 64-bit computer architectures is currently underway, driven by users of complex applications of computers in the technical and scientific environment. This paper provides a broad overview of the characteristics of 64-bit computer systems and the application of such systems from an Aerospace R & D perspective relative to engineering analysis and test data acquisition.
