The newest HICON/H~2directR annealing technology for steel rod and wire

This paper covers the latest developments of HICON/H~dircetR_2 bell annealer technology. In addition to reporting on the considerable advantages for heat treating steel wire a comparison is made with alternative heat treatment faciliites regarding operating costs, economy, and yield. A multitude of technical and technological advantages provided gy HICON'H_2 bell annealers are briefly discussed. These points have already been analyzed in detail by H.Lochner and others.~1,2,3
