The burining rate in turbulent bunsen flames

Measrueemtns of burning rate along the centeroline of high turbulent reynolds number (30-120) and high Damkohler number (20-50) methane/air turbulent Bunsen flames have bene performe.the burning rate was determined in terms of a "consumption" speed obtaiend from the axial and radial reactant mass fluxes along the burner axis.the ocnsumpton speed,the difference e4twenen the mas flow rates of reactants into the out of a ocntrol volume defined around the burner axis,tis the net rate at which mass si converted from raactnats to products along the centerline.
