The Implementation of a Billing Data Processing Mechanism for Open Access to Information Services

摘要

Billing data processing mechanism in Communication Processing System (CPS) provides Information Provider (IP) access function and billing data generating function.To perform this mechanism, the CPS uses Information Billing Protocol (IBP) which defines communication procedure between CPS and IPs and generates billing information. Using this mechanism, information users can connect open IPs without service account and IPs reduce the overload of billing management. This paper describes the concept of IBP, generation of billing data in Information Service Access Point (ISAP) and management of billing data in Mediation-Operation,Administration and Management (M-OAM).
