Numerical estimation of heat transfer and thermal stresses in water cooling of shipbuilding profiles

摘要

In this paper a numerical procedure for estimation of heat transfer coefficients based on temperature measurements during the cooling of ship building profiles is described. Results on running a software implementation of the procedure forselected time series of laboratory measurements are presented. The paper also includes computational results of thermal stresses based on the established heat transfer coefficients.
