Application of intelligent monitoring and control in automated industrial processes

摘要

This paper will consider an intelligent supervisory control system for industrial processes. Evaluation of the performance of the process and assessment of the quality of the product are two important responsibilities of this control system. Asuitable structure for the control system will be presented and some design issues will be addressed using, as illustrative examples, several practical systems which we have developed in the Industrial Automation Laboratory.
