摘要

ASTM D5403-93 was created to quantify the volatile organic content of radiation curable materials. The physical properties of UV curable materials which have a glass transition temperature above room temperature are significantly affected by the heat generated during cure and the substrate on which the material is cured. In this regard, each coating application will have its own unique curing environment. This study was undertaken to more clearly understand the impact of UV curing thermal environment on ASTM D5403-93.
