This paper deals with a kinematic analysis of the feeding control mechanism (FCM) and design variable's effects for rotational angles of the feed regulator link in an industrial lock stitch sewing machine. Relations of the feeding distance of the feed regulator dial shaft and the rotational angle of the feed regulator link are studied. The sensitivity data of each design variable used for tolerances are obtained. The mutual relations of the design variables are discussed from these sensitivity data.
