Distributed Multimedia Platform To Support Collaboration

This paper describes a research project which is underway. As part of this effort, we envision that the CSCW's systems of the future will be based upon Distributed Multimedia Platform (DMP). First, we describe development and classification of CSCW. Then, we discuss CSCW's requirements and characteristics of DMP. Finally, we propose a framework of DMP to support collaboration.
