AN EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF DYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS OF FLEXIBLE COUPLINGS

Utilizing the newly successfully developed test stand for dynamic characteristics of flexible couplings, we executed the experimental study on aspects of flexible couplings which have influences on their dynamic characteristics, such as rubber hardness, ingredients, product dimensions, testing frequency and ambient temperature. Nine kinds of two series of foreign and domestic couplings were tested. In the meanwhile, the test stand was inspected through two special experiments. The theory of similarity was first introduced to carry out an experiment on simulative models.
