ROTOMOLDING OF HIGHLY PLASTICIZED PVC EXTRUDED FORMULATIONS

In this work we present a novel process to produce plasticized PVC articles. In this process plasticized PVC dispersion resin (dry blend) is extruded and poured into a hot mold. The mold is transferred to a rotomolding machine where the final shape is obtained. The effect of some processing conditions and plastisol formulations on physical appearance and mechanical properties of the molded articles was studied.
