THE PRACTICAL APPLICATION OF DESIGN OF EXPERIMENTS IN THE TOTAL QUALITY INJECTION MOLDING PROCESS

Several other DOE case studies summarized in Table 2 to further demonstrate the value of conducting designed experiments. The case studies presented show how a DOE can be a powerful tool to help the process stakeholders understand complex interactions when solvingprocess challenges. The time invested towards solution far outweigh the cost of the challenge in each case. An intangible benefit of each case was the increased interest, awareness and enthusiasm from everyone in the organization when this approach is taken.
