Improving insecticide activity and rain-fastness with polyethylenimine

摘要

Many surfactant or polymer-based adjuvants designed to improve the adhesion of active ingredients on plants function through mechanisms involving surface tension modification or hydrogen bonding. Polyethylenimine, a branched polyamine with high molecular weight and cationic charge density, offers a different adhesion promotion mechanism based on the formation of ionic bonds with anionic substrates combined with an ability to orient itself with organic active ingredients.
