摘要

In this paper, we propose an approach to study a dynamic scheduling problem that arises in flexible manufacturing systems. The production system of interest is composed of a set of machines dedicated to execute a predefined set of operations, a set of parts or jobs to be processed, and a set of vehicles which carry the parts between machines and a central store. The underlying objectives of the study lie in the determination of the appropriate times for launching parts to vehicles such that real-time constraints are met, and the efficient use of vehicles is maximized.
