CHARACTERISTICS OF A THREE-PARAMETER DIFFERENCE DISTRIBUTION AND PATTERN

The characteristics of the three-parameter distribution for difference pattern , such as the edge taper , beamwidth, peak sidelobe level etc, are analyzed and calculated. Figures are given to show its changes with the parameters. By selecting the three parameters , the suitable distribution and pattern can be chosen to control the beam width, the peak sidelobe level , the edge taper and the sidelobe structure,etc, for various applications.
