IMPROVE GLASS FURNACE DESIGN BY USING CAD TECHNOLOGY

摘要

The prevailing design for the glass furnace, due to mainly relying on the experiential data, has quite some shortcomings, resulting in that the designing level can not be improved steadily. Proceeding from the principles of glass melting technology and furnace thermotechnology, the Author has been devoting himself to studying, from the macroscopic state, the problems related to the design method, searching for the relation among the main parameters of glass furnace and their mathematical models. Now the preliminary achievement has been obtaind. Thus, the main furnace parameters can be mostly figured out from the calculation of mathematical models instead of to be determined by the experiential data. Meanwhile, a preliminary CAD System for the glass furnace has come into being by utilizing those mathematical models under the aid of superior function of micro - computer.
