摘要

A computer aided design system used in a high density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe extrusion die is developed in this paper, which is compiled with language C and carried out on microcomputer. This system starts with studying HDPE melt characteristics to get some important parameters of melt in flow channel, upon which the strength of the die head are rectified and also optimized. In this system, techniques for pop menu and connection of language C with Auto CAD are opened up. As a result, a integrative work including data calculation, rectification, optimum and automatic drawing as well is achieved.
