Since 1978, City of Montreal operates an ozonation unit. Different surveys have been done which resulted in modifications to the process. Among these probjects, the evaluation of THM and haloacetic acids, the optimization of the regeneration cycle on the dryers, the evaluation of the ozone recirculation system, the ozonizers cleaning program and the implementation of the ozonation control loops have been undertaken.
