Cooperative Installation of the Medical Physics Online Study Program 'Master of Advanced Physical Methods in Radiotherapy'

摘要

A web-based master study program is presented which is focusing on medical physics in radiotherapy and particularly emphasizing modern treatment techniques like IMRT, IGRT and ion therapy. It is projected as a modular program consisting of online phases based on the "Moodle" software platform, attendance phases, training phases and a master thesis. The master study program is designed for graduates in physics or biomedical engineering with a clear background in medical physics. It will allow postgraduate extra-occupational education and training. Start of the program is planned for autumn 2010.
