Spectroscopic in vitro Studies on Joint Cartilage

In this paper we present the results of a study to quantify parameters influencing the spectral analysis of joint cartilage. The study was carried out in vitro. As a model we used cartilage of sheep. The near infrared reflectance spectrum from 944 nm - 1705 nm was analyzed. The study focused on the parameters post mortal alterations and compression load.
