Arthroscopy is one of the standard techniques in minimal-invasive knee surgery. During these interventions, the support of the treated leg is one of the main ergonomic problems. In this paper the development of a novel assistance device for arthroscopic surgery is described. The proposed tool enables the surgeon to fix the leg in any required position and to thereby improve his working posture and conditions.
