In the wireless communication the demand for handset is increased. A duplexer is the critical component of handset for the mobile communication to separate the transmitting and receiving signals. Thus the need of duplexer for repeater is also increased. In this paper the design and experiments for repeater's duplexer are presented. A transmission line tchebyscheff filter which will be referred as a uniform impedance resonator is presented(UIR). By using a conventional filter theory, the equivalent circuit parameters are extracted. And this paper presents simple pattern that is easy for mapping one to one with circuit components. The duplexer for IMT-2000 band is designed where Tx band is from 1920MHz to 1980MHz and Rx band is from 2110MHz to 2170MHz. A design procedure is presented and validated by simulation results.
