The forecasts for DSL are very optimistic with almost everyone either implementing or planning a strategy for the technology. Customers are clamoring for the bandwidth and pundits predict a vast array of new broadband applications that will drive even more end-users into a digital frenzy. Every day, in the United States, over 6,000 people are phoning (or emailing) to see if their location qualifies for DSL services. Alas, the answer is not always positive and the situation is likely to get worse.
