Probabilistic vehicle routing and scheduling with variable travel times

摘要

This paper presents a probabilistic vehicle routing and scheduling model with variable travel times. The model incorporates the uncertainty of travel times and soft time windows at customers. The probabilistic model showed the reduction of total costs compared with the forecast model when applying to a test networ. The value of stochastic solution increased in more congested conditions.
