摘要

This system consists of a compact manipulator a mobile platform, an environment perception unit, an information display unit a navigation unit and a remote supervisory controller. In contrast with industrial robots, it is human friendly, highly autonomous, and safe for use in a human environment. The robot carries meals in care facilities, allowing caregivers to concentrate on personal services and improve the quality of nursing care.
