In Ohito viaduct bridge 2, which is a 29-span continuous one, the isolator was installed to enhance the aseismic performance. In order to ascertain dynamic characteristics of the bridge, forced vibration tests using exciter and free vibration tests using rapid release jack were conducted when the construction of one span of the bridge was completed. This paper reports vibration properties of the bridge and characteristics of isolator obtained from the results of these tests and simulation analysis.
