Recently, on the seismic design of bridges, it has become more important to evaluate non-linear response under great earthquake. However, for non-linear analyses of long span bridges with complicated structure, much time to calculate has been required, and furthermore it has not been easy. We propose the method of non-linear seismic response analysis, that enables to obtain efficiently non-linear response of 3D model of long span bridge with many nodal points. In this method, the explicit integration scheme and the mass condensation method are applied.
