This paper presents the progress of the project "research on dynamic design for Ceramic/Metal composities" (No.59405009) supported by the national Nature Science Foundation of China(NSFC). This project researches mainly on the Ceramic/Metal compsoties with the functioanlly gradient maeterial Structure as the thermal barrier coatings. The microstructures and medhanical properties of the gradient materials are presented in the paper. The mathematical model and analytic solutionof heat transfer and thermal stress for multilayer palte and cylinder are presented also. and the fintie element analysis of hermal stress in plate and the finite difference analysis of temperature fluctuation and parallel computing are introduced in this paper, finally, the further researches are also pointed out.
