A UNIT TEST PLAN REVIEW METHODOLOGY

Peer review of software design documents is an effective tool in the effort to improve software quality.Over the course of previous generic development projects,we at NEC America have instituted formal,structured reviews of our core software design documents.However,the review methodology for NEAX61E Unit Test Plans has not yet been targeted for improvement.In February of 1990,the NEC engineering community formed several Software Quality Circles in order to discuss and address issues related to the improvement of software quality at NEC America.The Unit Test Plan Review Methodology implemented by our Software Quality Circle extends the NECAM review philosophy to the Unit Testing arena.
