HDTV HIGH-SPEED VIDEOTEX PROTOTYPE SYSTEM

摘要

This paper describes an HDTV High-speed Videotex prototype system that provides enhanced picture quality and a shorter resl)onse time.This system uses HDTV (High-Definition TV) and B-ISDN (Broadband Integrated Services Digital Network).Techniques such as a high-speed protocol processing,data transmitring.and parallel file access enable retrieval and display 6-MB of still picture data within three seconds.
