摘要

The broadband Internet has been spreading recently, and 100-Mbps class Internet access is now available in homes in Japan, which enables users to receive broadband contents, such as high-quality video, via an IP network. However, the delivering system cannot match the increase in access line speed at present. Therefore, a contents delivering acceleration system called CDN has been actively researched in recent years. As a part of the research, we are studying high-speed protocol processing techniques using general-purpose PCs. In this paper, we describe an uncompressed HDTV transmission system that uses our 2.4 Gbps network interface cards.
