Bias instability in the polarization-maintaining fiber gyro with imperfect polarization couplers and splices

se error of polarization-maintaining fiber gyro due to the imperfect couplers and splices is considered. The results in a special case are consistent with that of previous authors. Experimentally observed bias stability agrees well with theoretical predictions.
