For he purpose of the sterilization of the medical instruments used, ozone/UV inactivation kinetics of Bacillus subtilis spores, Escherichia coli and Serratia rubidaea in a circulation system of a 5.31 of saline suspensione ware investigated under differnet combinations of UV- and ozone-doses. It was found that ozone/UV tretment was more effective than both UV- and ozone-tretment, respectivley. The basic data on UV-inactivation (26 microorganisms) and ozone-inactivation (9 microorganisms) are also presented.
