Comparison between 3 different Holter ECG evaluations in a smallclinical study with n=30 Holter recordings (25 usable ones) revealeddifferent sources of incompatibility and incomparability. Increasedattention should be given to comparable system definitions and toquality control of devices and operators. Due to vulnerability bytechnical artifacts, some parameters-like minimum heart rate-seem to beunsuitable for comparisons. Technical differences might account for aconsiderable extra amount of variability resulting from lack oftechnical standards and comparability of Holter devices
