摘要

We made extensive studies on treeing phenomena of polyethylene. The treeing resistance at 77 K is much higher than that at room temperature [1]. We also reported that the ac tree starting voltage at room temperature is drastically increased by degassing of sample; the removal of oxygen absorbed in polymer suppresses the tree channel growth [2].
