Using simulation to optimize solar greenhouse design

摘要

This paper discusses the development and use of a thermal greenhouse model which was written in the DYNAMO computer simulation language. The model is used in designing an energy-efficient passive stand-alone greenhouse for use in the Southern California area. The design process and model are readily adaptable for use in other climatic regions and for studying attached greenhouses.
