Extreme EMC: The Electromagnetic Environmental Effects Program for an Advanced Tactical Fighter

This paper provides an historical overview of the approach to meeting electromagnetic environmental effects (EEE) requirements during the recently completed development of the F-22 fighter. The authors share the systems engineering approach used throughout the development, test and validation of this major fighter program, from spec development through final verification and lessons learned.
