Marine navigational decision support system

摘要

The rapid development of information technologies enables the construction of navigational decision support systems, significantly expanding the functionalities currently used in navigational information systems. The paper presents navigational decision support system NAVDEC. Its basic functionalities, including the interpretation module of COLREGs [1], have been characterized. The possibilities of using the system on-line, for the control and steering of the ship, and off-line, for the analysis of maritime accidents, have been presented.
