Evolution of Agile Processes on a Small Program

This paper discusses our experience attempting to develop and introduce a web-basedrncollaborative engineering environment into an organization working in a government contractrnenvironment. In a previous paper, we described how we had evolved our processes fromrnones that control change to processes designed to adapt to a rapidly changing environment. Inrnthis paper, we continue the story by discussing how those processes compared to "ExtremernProgramming" (XP), and how we subsequently benefited from adopting additional elements ofrnXP. To illustrate the points, we use our 2002 task to automate the enterprise Data Managementrnprocess as an example.
