Laser user with 1um high power lasers that like tornweld in different welding processes like heatrnconduction welding and deep penetration weldingrnrequire a reduced beam quality compared to laserrncutting. At this point just defocusing is not enough tornchange the process. For an acceptable result the endrnuser has to change the fiber optic cable.rnThe laser beam in principle promises to be a processrnflexible tool and this is the way laser systems arerndesigned. The Dual Core Delivery Fiber has beenrndeveloped to overcome this limit while using 1μm highrnpower lasers.
