Combined with synergetics and hypercycle theory, this article summarized the criterions for identifying an organizational culture system as a self-organizing one, and analyzed the coordination and evolvement mechanism of the organizational culture and subcultures. Research findings are presented to show that an organizational culture system is a self-organizing and self-adaptive one, so the views of self-organization theory can help to see problems and to generate solutions for the organizational culture researches. To the coordination and evolvement mechanism of the organizational culture and subcultures, the competition and cooperation of organizational culture and subcultures and the leading role of the former is the key for them to coexist harmoniously.And the hypercycle process for three levels of the organization culture system exposes the evolvement direction for them. The conclusion provides a reference for the construction of the self-organization circumstance and shaping the self-organization mechanism for organizations.
