There are complex coupling characteristics between energy sources in integrated energy systems. Reasonable planning of coupling equipment effectively improves the renewable energy accommodation in integrated energy systems. Now less quantified the social resources of human resources included in the total energy supply. Based on the theory of emergy, we quantify the heterogeneous resources better. At the same time, we quantitatively analyse the energy system production efficiency more reasonably. Then we propose a bi-level programming model of the coupling equipment for the integrated energy system. The objective of upper level is the minimization of annual cost of the integrated energy system for coupling equipment locating and sizing. The objective of the lower level is the maximum of emergy yield ratio, in order to provide the best operational data for the upper level. Finally, verified by comparing the example with the traditional planning scheme, we improve the effectiveness of the proposed planning method in reducing improving emergy yield ratio.
