Study on Computer-Aided Fmeca Techniques

摘要

This paper aims at achieving cmputer-aided FMECA with partial automation in order to get comprehensive analysis results efficiently and timely. Based on the analysis of the procedure of FMECA and the source of various data and the relations between the data, the function and working process of computer-aided FMECA system are defined and the frame structure of a computer-aided FMECA prototype is proposed. Furthermore, solutions to three essential problems encountered during the development of the prototype are discussed in detail. They are: 1) Computerization of the descriptive information of the system being analyzed, 2) Automation of filling FMEA/CA worksheets and performing analysis; 3) Visualization of the input and output information. The research work involved will popularize the application of FMECA and greatly decrease the intensity of analyzing work.
