Nearly all of the signal analysis processes requires the area computation of the signal peaks. We identified an issue in the correctness processing of the drifted signals or also called irregular baseline signals. In such cases, especially in gas chromatography analysis, the signals are manually separated. This material does offer a computation solution in case of a linear drifted signal.
