Development of Compression Test Device forMeasuring Response of Repetitive Impacts atthe Shoe Heel

摘要

This repetitive compression test device is mainly composed of a main frame andan hydraulic pressure unit with its servo controller which generates repetitive compressionloads at a shoe heel, a MCU which gives control input to a servo controller and a GUI S/Wwhich provides a user interface to the device for performing experiments and shows graphicalresults. With this device, experiments with 4 different specimen shoes were performed and theresults are shown that midsoles of shoes are permanently deformed by large number ofrepetitive compressions and the device can perform this type of test effectively.
