Re-doing the subject: implementation experiences in going online

摘要

An action research project was designed to yield insights into what happened to the teaching of a pre-existing classroom-based subject during the development of a fully Web-based mode of studying it, and whether and how doing the Web-based subject represented significantly new or different kinds of teaching and learning activity. In the case study subject, the outcome for subject teaching and learning was a change, from using the Web as a conventionally understood learning resource within a familiar pattern of teaching and learning activities, to flexibly managing teaching and learning approaches in a continuously evolving system.
